We're currently experiencing problems with off-campus access to Library SmartSearch. We're in contact with the suppliers who are trying to rectify this as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, you have several options open to you to carry on with your research:
1.
Use LibGuides to link to
databases within your subject area. Either use the subject guide for your area
of study, or if you know the name of the database you want to use, click on the
link to the A-Z list of databases on the right hand side.
2.
Use Google Scholar to search for
academic journal articles. Select Settings and then Library Links and then
search for Aston University – Find it @ Aston to set Google Scholar up with our
full-text linker to take you to articles.
3.
Use the Journals
A-Z list to link through to specific journals
4.
To search for books (print and
electronic), use the classic catalogue
