Watch all the Research Bites 2014 on Aston Replay

Research Bites 2014 were a success! The short, informal seminars held on Wednesdays throughout July and August featured topics relevant to researchers at all levels. Every seminar was captured by Aston Replay and they are all now available to watch online.

Scopus has been enhanced

Scopus was upgraded on Saturday 31st May. Specific improvements include:

• An improved Author Profile page
  The author profile page now portrays a snapshot of an author's productivity, and improved basic functions, such as sorting and switching between documents.  Additionally, if an author's ORCiD is associated with a Scopus profile then a direct link will display on the author details page.
  Now is the ideal time for you to check your Scopus author profile!  If you'd like to know more about ORCiD, come along to our Research Bites seminar on the topic.

• A Simplified Chinese user interface
  Simplified Chinese has now been added, in addition to Japanese, as a non-English language interface.

Research Bites 2014 announced!

The programme for the Research Bites 2014 seminars has now been announced. These short, informal seminars will be held in the Library 2nd Floor Workshop A on Wednesdays at 1pm throughout July and August, and feature topics relevant to researchers at all levels. Whether you want a quick refresher on a single topic or a comprehensive updating of your information and research skills, you will find something for you.
