Birmingham 10k - Sunday 1st May

The Library wishes good luck to everyone running the Birmingham 10k on Sunday. Aston Well Being Week: 26th - 28th January 2016

Well being events are taking place this week and are open to all staff and students.  The progamme of events is below: 

In addition, there will be a free session with an England Athletics coach on the ASV pitch on Thursday 27th January between 12:00pm and 1:00pm.  Everyone is welcome to attend just meet at the ASV pitch and bring your trainers!

Aston Running Rockets - success

Aston Running Rockets is a fun and friendly beginners running club that began in January 2015 led by Emma Hollinshead.  There are currently 13 members that train on Tuesday lunchtimes including staff from the Library, Registry, Engineering and Estates.  All the members have been following the couch to 5k plan with the brilliant support from the run leader Emma.  This culminated in completing the 5k Race for Life at Sutton Park on Saturday where all the members taking part crossed the line under 42 minutes.
