COP21, the 2015 Paris Climate Conference: recommended academic resources

The 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP 21, or CMP 11, is being held in Paris from November 30 to December 11. It will be the 21st yearly session of the Conference of the Parties to the 1992 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the 11th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the 1997 Kyoto Protocol.

The official website has agendas, documents, decisions and webcasts.
On the left of the home page there are some very useful links to basic treaties, documents and process information.
The Paris organisers have an official twitter account with the latest news, and an English official account.

New online Library subscription to Economist.com

Dear Staff and Students

We are pleased to announce that the Library has purchased an online subscription to Economist.com

Aston University staff and students can access the content both and and off-campus.  Off-campus, you will need to log-in with your Aston University username and password, via Library SmartSearch, Databases or Journals tab.

Within the Economist web site, you can click on the Print edition to browse issues from 1997 up to the present date.

EIU.com free trial extended to end of March 2010

There is currently a free trial to EIU.com resources for all Aston University staff and students to use (on-campus only). EIU.com provides country, business and management analysis.

The publishers of The Economist have provided a free trial of their analysis resource, EIU.com, to Aston University students and staff.

EIU.com provides country, business and management analysis.

This trial runs until the 31st January 2010 and is accessible via campus PCs.
