LIS now supports EndNote and EndNote Web!
Your Information Specialists have now received full training on this software and can provide ongoing support to all staff, research students and undergraduates. If you have any questions about importing your references into EndNote, managing your references, connecting your desktop EndNote X5 to EndNote Web, or using your references when writing a document, contact your Information Specialist directly or via the Help Desk.
While we would expect most staff and research students to attend the excellent introductory one-day course at the Centre for Staff and Graduate Development, we are also hoping to provide further support for EndNote in the form of drop-in sessions or workshops and would like to find out what you would find most useful. If you have any suggestions, please comment on this post or e-mail us.
Please note that if you have any problems with the installation of EndNote on your University computer, or you would like a copy of the desktop software for your own computer, please contact ISA.

24/6 Opening Commences Sunday 4th March
Dear staff and students,
This is just a reminder that 24/6 opening commences this Sunday 4th March for the examination period and will last until Friday 23 March.
Throughout 24/6 the Library is open all the time from 11:00 on Sunday mornings through to 18:00 on Saturday evenings. On Friday 23 March the Library will close at 22:00 and re-open at 10:00 the following morning. Please check the Library web site for opening hours.
We hope that you can make good use of the Library during this period. If you need a quiet place to study, please remember that the third floor is for single silent study at all times. If you have any problems with noisy neighbours in the Library, or if you need help with finding resources, then please do not hesitate to speak to staff at the Help desk on the Ground floor or email: library@aston.ac.uk
Please be aware that it is a University requirement for all staff and students to visibly display their uniCARDS within campus buildings (including the Library) during 'out of hours' periods. Lanyards (and clips) for ID badges are available at Security, the HUB and the ARC.
The 'out of hours' periods during term-time are between the hours of:
- 8pm - 8am Monday - Friday
- 6pm - 8am Friday - Monday
If you have any questions or comments, please let us know.
Best regards
