Dawsonera: Notification of downtime

Dawsonera e-books platform will be unavailable for a short period of time over the next two weekends: "Please be advised that we will be conducting essential system maintenance on dawsonera in the forthcoming weeks and, as a result, the system will be unavailable on Saturday 5th April between 7am and 10am. There will be a second period of downtime that will occur on the following Saturday 12th April between 7am and 10am."

Dawsonera unavailable 10am-6pm on Saturday 8th December

This Saturday, the 8th December 2012, Dawson will be performing an essential upgrade on the dawsonera e-book platform and will require an outage between the hours of 10am and 6pm, GMT.

Dawsonera downtime

The e-book platform Dawsonera will unavailable between 5-6 on Thursday 31st March due to essential work to make improvements to the service.

Problem with logging in to Dawsonera

There is currently a problem with logging in to e-books on the Dawsonera platform. The supplier is looking into this as a matter of urgency.

12/10/2010 - update: There is still a problem off campus with the Dawsonera platform. However, it is now possible to access Dawsonera books on campus by searching the Library catalogue for a title and clicking on the link from within the record.

We apologise for the continuing inconvenience and will provide an update as soon as one is available with regard to off campus access.

13/10/2010 - update: While a solution is being worked on for the off campus access it is possible in the short term to use the proxy server to access Dawsonera books off campus.
